By ordering or reserving a vendor, artist, or exhibitor space at Fuzioncon, you agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and terms outlined below. These policies are in place to ensure a safe, accessible, and enjoyable event for attendees, vendors, staff, and guests.
General Vendor Responsibilities
- Vendor, exhibitor, and artist wristbands may not be sold, transferred, or given to members of the general public.
- Any vendor found violating this policy will be banned from future Fuzioncon events.
- For security reasons, attendees are not permitted on the show floor before official opening hours.
- Vendors may not use any materials or mounting methods that damage walls, floors, or venue property.
- Exhibitors will be financially responsible for any damage caused by displays or installations.
- Booths, tables, and displays must not extend into aisles or walkways.
- All aisle space must remain clear and compliant with Eastern States Exposition fire safety regulations.
- All vendors must fully pack up and remove all merchandise, displays, and materials by 8:00 PM EST on Sunday.
Liability, Insurance & Indemnification
- All exhibitors assume full responsibility for their participation and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless:
- Fuzioncon
- CDRV Events, LLC
- Eastern States Exposition
- All employees, agents, and partners
- from any claims, damages, losses, fines, or legal fees arising from installation, operation, occupancy, or removal of vendor materials.
- Fuzioncon and its production partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, nor for personal injury.
- Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry their own insurance coverage.
Family-Friendly Content Policy
Fuzioncon is a family-friendly event.
- No nudity or pornographic material may be displayed or sold.
- The sale of weapons is strictly prohibited, except as specifically outlined below.
- Vendors must ensure that displayed content is appropriate for a general audience.
Games, Promotions & Giveaways
- Games of chance are strictly prohibited, including (but not limited to):
- Wheels of Fortune
- Gumball machines
- Any game where prizes have varying values based on chance
Prohibited Items (For Sale or Cosplay)
The following items are not permitted for sale, display, or cosplay at Fuzioncon:
- Functional firearms (including airsoft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns, and pellet guns)
- Realistic replica firearms
- Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, and long bows)
- Explosives (including fireworks and firecrackers)
- Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray)
- Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs, and nunchaku)
Sword, Bow & Prop Weapon Policy
Metal Swords
Metal sword sales are permitted only under the following conditions:
- Sales are restricted to customers 18 years of age or older
- Each sword must be sealed with “DO NOT OPEN” tape on the box
- Vendors must verbally instruct buyers not to open packaging inside the venue
- Buyers must be advised to take the sword directly to their vehicle after purchase
Additional Prop Rules
- Prop bows are allowed only if all arrows have soft tips
- Lightsabers are permitted
Health & Safety Regulations
(Per the Town of West Springfield Health Department)
All vendors must comply with the following health regulations while on the grounds of Eastern States Exposition:
- The use of plastic bags and polystyrene containers is prohibited in West Springfield.
- Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices are prohibited anywhere smoking is prohibited.
- Employees must wash hands after using the restroom or after smoking/vaping before returning to work.
- Employees exhibiting symptoms such as coughing or sneezing may not work directly with the public.
- Employees experiencing nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea may not be present or work with the public.
Agreement & Enforcement
Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in:
- Immediate removal from the event
- Loss of vendor privileges without refund
- Disqualification from future Fuzioncon events
These policies are enforced to ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for everyone involved.
